Steele feels good that he ran a personal best time on three occasions last season. However, qualifying to be a part of Jamaica’s team to the London Olympics, was the highlight of his 2012 season. Edino, who was selected to be a member of the 4 X 400m relay pool, describes his 2012 season as overwhelming. Although he did not get the opportunity to actually compete, he gained valuable experience by just being at the games wearing the Jamaican colours.
This year he hopes that the new tasks he has assigned to himself will help him to achieve his goals of running some sub 45s 400m races. He is pleased about his decision to remain at Racers and is happy to stay in Jamaica the country where he was born but left as a youngster. Edino promises to keep on with his happy smile, “as I always do every day,” he says.
