Racers Track Club Founder-President Glen Mills has been recognised by the IAAF for his long and successful coaching career. At its annual Awards Ceremony in Barcelona on Saturday 24 November, Mills received the athletics world governing body’s Coaching Lifetime Achievement Award.

In a career well into its fifth decade, Mills has coached several Olympic and World Championships finalists and was Jamaica’s National Coach for over two decades. He currently coaches the two fastest men in history; and at the recent London Olympics five of the six short sprints medals in contention among the men were won by Mills’ charges.
