Jamaica will be represented by three members of Racers Track Club when the men’s 200 metres begin Tuesday morning. First up will be world record-holder and defending Olympic champion Usain Bolt in heat 1. He will run in lane 5.
Next up will be the freshly decorated 100 metres Olympic silver medalist Yohan Blake. He will be trying to confirm his status as Crown Prince of the sprints, having already run the second fastest time ever over this distance. He runs in heat 4 from lane 7.
Seeking to be recognised as a bona fide member of the royal family, Warren Weir starts his quest in heat 5 from lane 6.
