For the second year running, Racers have moved their training camp to London. Most members of the club left Jamaica on Wednesday 4 July, a few days after the National Championships. From July 5 to 27 they will be based at Brunel University in Uxbridge, West London.
From their London base, it is expected that some athletes will travel to various meets in Europe. Those members taking part in the Olympics will eventually join up with the other members of the Jamaican team at the JOA’s training camp in Birmingham before returning to London for the Games of the XXX Olympiad.
