Josef Gets Olympic “A” Standard with PB

Josef Robertson is the first Jamaican to achieve the Olympic “A” Qualifying Standard in the men’s 400 metre hurdles this season. This milestone was passed on May 5 at the Jamaica International Invitational meet in Kingston when he ran 49.16 seconds to place fourth, opening his international season with a personal best.

His next race will be this Friday 25 May at the 51st Golden Spike Meet in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Other Racers athletes to run at this meet are Usain Bolt and Kimmari Roach (100 metres); Mario Forsythe and Marvin Anderson (200 metres); and Edino Steele (400 metres).
