Twelve Racers Athletes on Team to Daegu

Eight male and four female Racers athletes were named to the Jamaican team going to the World Championships in Daegu.

Heading the list of male athletes is Usain Bolt. Other members are Jermaine Gonzales, Yohan Blake, Mario Forsythe, Marvin Anderson, Allodin Fothergill, Josef Robertson and Wilbert Walker. The female athletes are: Rosemarie Whyte, Shereefa Lloyd, Davita Prendagast and Schillonie Calvert.

In addition, Daniel Bailey, a Racers athlete will represent his native Antigua at the championships.

It is important to note that there are four quarter milers, a 400m hurdler and a triple jumper, supporting the list of sprinters. Not bad for a club known mostly for its sprinters.
