Nickeisha Wilson is safely through to the semi-finals of the women’s 400 metres hurdles at the London Olympics after clocking 55.53 seconds on Sunday to take second spot and secure her place as one of four automatic qualifiers from her heat. Her Jamaican team-mates Kaliese Spencer and Melaine Walker also went through without difficulty.
She next runs in the first of three semi-final heats on Monday evening at 8:15 London time.
