Jamaica’s black, green and gold were the most beautiful and dominant colours in the 100m finals. Every Jamaican who watched must have felt the anxiety at the start realigning every cell in their bodies.
Although Gatlin spoiled the party, we are grateful to Usain, Nesta, Bailey-Cole and Ashmeade for carrying the Jamaican flag, spirit and nation to such great heights in that race.
