Racers Water was officially launched this morning during an Outside Broadcast of the Jenny Jenny show.

Glen Mills, President & Head Coach of Racers Track Club gave an overview of the club while Dave Myrie, Director, Finance and Fundraising at the Club, gave a synopsis of the Club’s operations and funding, explaining why we should support Racers Water. The club is primarily funded through sponsorship. However, in order to establish a sustainable framework to generate income to ensure the club is equipped and able to facilitate the needs of its athletes and fulfill its obligations, it must explore additional means of income. With this in mind, Racers has partnered with a local philanthropist to produce, market and sell Racers Water.

Ristananna Tracey, Racers athlete and 400m hurdler, spoke about the water and endorsed the brand.

New Vision Distributors Ltd. will be the distributors of the Racers Water and Jeremy Virgo, Business Development Consultant for the company, presented his company’s vision on getting the water to the consumers and its competitive advantage in the water market.

• Label says “Official training drink of the world’s # 1 track club”
• Racers water surpasses the most stringent water purification process whilst maintaining the great natural taste of Jamaican water. By association, we intend to convey the message that everyone has the potential to be as great as the local Racers Track Club star athletes by drinking Racers Water, “Drink –to-Win”.
• The water will be sold at all wholesale and retail stores island-wide (small vendors, restaurants, groceries, supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, gas stations, school cafeterias etc.) Our distribution pricing is directly aligned with present leading brands.
• Racers Purified Water is natural Jamaican water that has been mechanically filtered and processed to be impeccably refreshing and pure for consumption. The process includes a combination of reverse osmosis, carbon filtration, micro filtration, ultra filtration and ultraviolet oxidation to produce water of such high purity that its trace contaminants are measured in parts per billion (ppb) or parts per trillion (ppt).
