Justine Palframan from South Africa, a very long way from Jamaica, is now back home after her second visit to Racers. This time she spent two months and seemed quite at home with the other athletes. She feels that her first visit in January, had a lot to do with her fifth place finish in the 400m at the World Juniors last summer in Barcelona.

Justine feels the training was good although it was lots of hard work. She has seen areas of improvement in her strength and knows if she gets her arms right she will get better times next year. That sounds good for the sub 52 quarter miler who will make her debut as a Senior in 2013.

Her first experience with a hurricane was one of the most exciting part of her visit. Thanks to hurricane Sandy which hit Jamaica in October. She was gratefull to the coaches who brought water and other supplies and visited throughout the period. She thought it was so nice of them.  Justine is always saying thank you. She wants to thank coach Mills for having her here, coach Dawson for the times he attended to her, Mullings for taking her around and to Hellshire, Kevin for taking her to the movies, Mrs. Cooke for everything and Deandre for being a good room mate.

Racers will be following her progress.
