Several Racers athletes compete in Europe this week. In Lucerne (Switzerland) as many as ten athletes will represent the club at the Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern on Tuesday 17 July. The group is headed by world champion Yohan Blake, who will run in the 100 metres. The 200 metres will feature at least three of his club-mates: Warren Weir, Edino Steele and Jason Young. Marvin Anderson is also a possible participant here. The 400 metres should include Allodin Fothergill, Nicholas Maitland and Demar Murray. Completing the group will be their female club-mates Celia Walters and Ristananna Tracey.
Also on Tuesday, 400 metres hurdler Josef Robertson competes in Cork (Ireland). On the same day, quarter-miler Javere Bell and short sprinter Kimmari Roach compete in Lignano (Italy).
The following day (Wednesday 18) at La Roche-sur-yon (France) Kenroy Anderson goes in the 200 metres, while Jermaine Gayle and Peter Matthews contend in the 400 metres.
On Saturday 21st, it will be the turn of Szczecin (Poland) to welcome Roach and Steele — who this time will run his more customary 400 metres.
